Came to London at 10,
Newcastle, grandparents,
Rural exploits, farm work.
Muck out horses, chicken robbery, survival,
Alsatians, pies, geese
Ex wife, soulmate, perfect,
She left, heartbreak, new guy.

I worked on the Underground from 1990, on the track doing cleaning. Paper picking. At first we used to work all around the system, then they privatised the lines. Each night you was given a certain amount of stations to walk through, it used to be a wicked job.
We used to have torches, and they provided us with a headlight like the miners, and a helmet.

I find I used to lock myself away, I
wouldn’t talk to nobody. Stay in bed
and sleep, eat, and put weight.
So now I try and come out of that.
Go to collage and, learn computer.
